Hi, my name is Andrew and I’m a Consulting Forester.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I have been in the woods ever since I was a child. My early love and interest for forests eventually led me to my professional calling, as I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology earning my AAS in Forest Technology with high honors. I am also a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
I have gained experience in nearly every corner of the forestry profession. For instance, I have done restoration work by controlling invasive plant species and planting new trees, worked as a technician at the Federal level helping manage our country’s national forests, and worked as a forester for sawmills setting up and administering their timber sales. I have also developed management plans for landowners so their forests can be sustainably managed for years to come, assisted outdoor recreational entities with trail maintenance and park layout, and even collaborated with utility companies to help ensure the lights stay on by doing tree risk assessments on forested right-of-ways. All in all, I’ve had a front row seat to the many unique ways that forestry plays a role in our modern society.
I became a forester because of my passion for being in nature and the woods, as well as wanting to do my part to ensure that our woodlands are properly managed so that future generations will be able to enjoy them just as much as I have. Whether you’re a private landowner, hunting club, conservation group, municipality, or any other type of entity or agency that is looking for someone to manage their trees and woods, as a consulting forester, my mission is to help you reach the goals that you envision for your forest. I look forward to working with you!
